ABOUT OUR

ORGANIZATION

Founded by a group of film makers and development practitioners, Travelling Tripod Films is documentary video and photo production house working with governments, multilateral organizations, research institutions and non-profits in bringing to life stories of human interest in the social development sector.

In the course of time we have been fortunate to have associated with individuals and organizations from India and abroad in covering some of the most fascinating stories of challenges, positive interventions and scalable solutions in the development landscape.

Some of our collaborations include United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), State Rural Livelihoods Mission - Uttarakhand (USRLM), GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit), Project Elephant (Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change), TATA Trusts, Kudumbashree - National Resource Organization (Kerala State Poverty Eradication Mission - Government of Kerala & National Rural Livelihoods Mission - Government of India), Karnataka Health Promotion Trust (USAID & Gov. of Karnataka funded projects), Asian Nature Conservation Foundation (Indian Institute of Science), University of Edinburgh, Biome Environmental Trust, Wipro Foundation, Titan Company Limited, Azim Premji University and Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE).   

 

Many of our past works were officially selected to international film festivals like Mega Cities Short Docs, Paris, Investment News - ESG & Impact Forum Film Festival in collaboration with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, broadcasted in mainstream news channels and presented at multinational conferences like the United Nations Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals, Manila.

With a dedicated team of researchers, script writers, cinematographers, editors, motion graphics artists and social media experts, we help capture stories of challenges, positive interventions and best practices in the development landscape and take it to a larger audience.
